Döhler joins WorldFood Istanbul 2025!

WorldFood Istanbul is preparing to open its doors on September 2 at TUYAP Fair and Congress Center.
This is the first time Döhler is exhibiting at WorldFood Istanbul, the no.1 gateway to Türkiye’s lucrative food and drink industry.
We spoke to Oğuz Çolak, Marketing Team Leader of Döhler Türkiye, about their activities, their expectations from the exhibition and why they’ve chosen WorldFood Istanbul for their business.
What are your activities?
Döhler, which was founded in Germany in 1838, provides integrated solutions for drink and food industry. Among its wide product range are a variety of ingredients and ingredient systems such as fruit and vegetable juice concentrates, fruit purees, natural flavors, natural colors, sauces, frozen and dried fruit and vegetable products. With 7 factories in Karaman, Denizli, Balıkesir, İzmir, Rize and Şanlıurfa and 2 R&D centers; Türkiye is a strategic production base in Döhler’s global organization. Aiming to produce all food ingredients locally in our country by combining its innovative processing technologies and global market know-how, Döhler Türkiye has become a complete service provider in the food industry with its Karaman Food Flavor Factory which has been brought to life in 2021.
Why have you decided to exhibit at WorldFood Istanbul?
WorldFood Istanbul is an important platform that brings together local and international representatives from the food and drink industry and where foundations of strong business partnerships are laid. Main reasons why we are taking part in this exhibition as Döhler are to strengthen ties with our existing business partners, enable potential new business partnerships and share our wide product range with the industry professionals. At the same time, we find the interactive platform the exhibition offers quite valuable for observing current needs in the market and consumer expectations - and developing our solutions accordingly.
What are your thoughts about WorldFood Istanbul? What are your expectations from the exhibition?
Beyond being just an exhibition, WorldFood Istanbul is an information and networking hub where industrial knowledge is shared, and innovative solutions are presented. At this year’s exhibition, we are especially focusing on topics such as sustainability, clean label, functional products and cyclical economy. We are aiming to share our R&D strength, natural ingredient-based solutions and technologically supported production vision by making one-on-one contact with attendees. Additionally, we care about building new connections while aiming to get together with our business partners during the exhibition.

In the upcoming period, we foresee us entering a chapter in which more digitalized, environment-focused, sustainable and functional food solutions become prominent.
To this end; Döhler, with its agricultural supply chain organization, will continue to turn agricultural goods that come out of our country’s fertile lands into products with added value using high technology.
