She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Afyonkarahisar. After completing her undergraduate education at Uludağ University Faculty of Agriculture Department of Food Engineering, she did her master’s degree at Afyon Kocatepe University Department of Food Engineering. She worked as a form teacher at the Ministry of National education and as a food inspector at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
Within the scope of the Turkish Food Codex legislation studies, she continues to work as a Food Engineer (MSc) at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Food and Control and Department of Food Establishments and Codex on the subjects of Food Labelling Legislation, Nutrition and Health Claims, Vitamins, Minerals and other Components Added to Food, Processed Fruits and Vegetables, Flavorants and Cocoa & Chocolate.
In addition, she continues to work as a technical expert at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security Vocational Qualifications Authority. She also writes articles for “gidaci.org” where news of food, life, healthy nutrition and sustainability are published.
