Birgül Erdoğan, also known as birgulunlezzetleri, is a food blogger. Her enthusiasm in food began when she saw her grandmother sewing a stuffed paunch with a needle.

Her first experience was creating leaf wraps on the cutting board that are thin and long like a pencil because she was not able to make them by her hands and she became a legend within her family.
She was 11 years old and living in an apartment building filled with families; so getting the approval of all of the housewives around her was not that easy.

At that age, being invited by neighbours to make leaf wraps was a big thing for her.
Following her university education, Birgül Erdoğan became a civil officer in a public institution and retired from her administrative duties after 22 years. She is married with two children.

One day she went to a cafe with her daughter and saw a poster of a baking contest. Her first cake was in the shape of a rabbit which she made for her daughter’s birthday. Just for this reason, her daughter persuaded her to participate in the competition.

And… in her first contest in 2012, her “Locust Cake” was awarded. During the Ramadan, locust cake was being sold in every Özsüt.
She won the first prize in four consecutive cooking contests and since then she has won over 20 awards.
She started a blog called “birgulunlezzetleri” and started sharing her recipes and experiences. She cooked on various TV shows and shared her recipes.

Her recipes were published in various magazines and web sites. Her articles on gastronomy tours in addition to her recipes were published on various newspapers.
In 2015, “birgulunlezzetleri” joined Instagram. In addition to her blog, she shares her experiences on food, restaurants and products on her social media account.

After her video for traditional “The Nevzine Desert”, she received an offer from Migros, the largest grocery chain in Turkey, and she made over 1000 videos for Internet TV for more than 2 years. Her videos on cooking and practical information that makes life easier are still online on Internet TV.
Also, for the women’s platform of the same grocery chain, she became a guest to the women of Turkey under “Be My Guest” motto and listened to their problems and requests. Local dishes cooked by the hosts of the house were filmed.

She also received educational trainings and certificates from various chefs and official institutions.
Although she does not compromise her imagination and freedom in the kitchen and generally likes to create different meals out of ingredients that are already in the kitchen, she also continues to create dishes in line with the wishes of her followers whom she calls her friends, and share her experiences with them.

Birgül Erdoğan states that “IF I CAN DO THIS WHEN IT IS MERELY 2 TO 60, JUST THINK WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE”. She further invites women to create and to share.
